Coordinator of Lab Operations
 The Rochester Imaging Detector Laboratory (RIDL), within the
 Center for Imaging Science at the Rochester Institute of Technology seeks to
 hire a Coordinator of Lab Operations. The RIDL was established last year to
 develop and advance new innovative detector technologies for astronomy and
 other fields. 
 The
 Coordinator of Lab Operations will
 •be responsible for managing
 schedule, costs, equipment, and effort on the RIDL projects
 •be responsible for preparing
 reports for the sponsors on the status and
 completion of projects
 •assist the members of the RIDL in
 procurement, travel, and time allocation
 •coordinate the development of new
 business proposals
 •develop and maintain budget for
 the laboratory
 •serve as interface between RIDL
 and the other parts of RIT responsible for grants,
 contracts, procurement, and budgets.
 Qualified candidate will 
 •be detail-oriented
 •have 1+ years of experience with
 staff work
 •have experience with bookkeeping,
 or a financial background
 •be proficient in Word, Excel,
 PowerPoint, and Outlook
 •be able to program advanced
 formulae in Excel
 •have the ability to multi-task,
 and prioritize tasks
 •have experience with Oracle
 database 
 •have experience with web design
 
 •have excellent verbal
 communication skills and phone etiquette
 •have a Bachelor's degree
